We are truly grateful for your interest in becoming a photographer for this great cause. Without volunteer photographers, our organization would be nothing.
In order to become a volunteer, you must first Apply to Become Part of Our Team. We take the screening process for our photographers to heart. We are looking for the best photographers to join our team.
A few of the things we are looking for:
- A strong body of work with natural light.
- A large portfolio with families and children (while we love the work of wedding, commercial, and landscape photographers, we need photographers with a background of working with children and families interacting)
- Capturing moments between family members that truly capture their personalities and love for one another, not just a posed snapshot
- Creativity
- Clean editing
In addition to these items please familiarize yourself with our Code of Conduct and our Photographer Responsibilities documents. Compliance with these is mandatory for our volunteers.
It can take 3-6 weeks for our screening process as we like to look at all aspects of your website, Facebook page, and application. You will receive an email with more information after the screening process has been completed.
